Recently the Glenhaven Board of Directors met to decide on the future of the Nursing home and potential directions to go in.
In 2010 Glenhaven was granted an incentive pay from the State of Wisconsin for newly designed facilities that incorporate truly unique buildings as well as inventing new ways to assist our seniors.
The year 2011 brought about the purchase of 7.5 acres to supplement the current campus design. A refinement of the master plan also accompanied this purchase.
The Board of Directors has now taken steps to answer specific needs questions. These questions are designed to ensure that the direction being taken is the direction that will lead Glenhaven and the surrounding communities into the future. We need to ensure that our seniors will be taken care of for the next 50 years like they have been for the last 50 years.
Over the next few months the Board of Directors will be finalizing plans with the Residents, Families, Staff and Community. They will be securing funding and beginning fundraising for this great endeavor.
